Ah, the other Simon Lewis who did the Epic! It was my first Sportive and quite an introduction. Well done on completing the whole course; I did the 'short' 78 mile version and also made it up that little hill, at about 3 mph. I'll be following your blog as I also plan to be in the Alps (?) next July. all the best, Simon N Lewis.
It was quite a day, wasn't it. Good luck with the training. Have you signed up with anyone yet for the trip to France (Mont Ventoux I hear on the grape vine)? What other Sportives are you of doing? I'm thinking of doing Surrey Rumble, Dartmoor Classic, Fred Whitton and Dave Lloyd Mega Challenge. If that isn't enough than I'm in trouble.
